Minimum Qualifications Six years of experience in administrative management coordination or implementation of various projects in a governmental setting. This experience must include data compilation and report preparation, coordination and/or development of verbal and written communications.

Duties Description The Project Assistant will provide administrative support and coordination for all projects related to the transition of the financial processing and accounting functions within Special Funds, from the legacy FMIS application to the Statewide Financial System. Duties include, but are not limited to: Organizing and maintaining a repository of all project documents; scheduling meetings between relevant parties; attending all meetings with the SFS team to assist in the researching of inquiries, customization of training materials as needed and participating in user acceptance testing of SFS functionality; serving as scribe at all project meetings to document outcomes, distribute notes and track/follow-up on action items; providing assistance to the Project Coordinator and assigned Project Manager with monitoring the status of assigned tasks, ensuring that all scope items are addressed and transition remains on schedule; assisting with the development of requirements documentation, Request for Proposals and other procurement documents that relate to the transition; and assisting in the efforts to identify project issues, in order to develop and document solutions and gain consensus from Financial Administration staff and approval from management.

Additional Comments This position equated to a salary grade 18.
