Minimum Qualifications Provisional:
Open-Competitive Minimum Qualifications:
Seven years of experience involving the evaluation, analysis, and use of data from energy management systems involving large office buildings of at least 250,000 gross square feet, or complexes of 10 or more separate occupied office buildings comprising 2,000,000 or more square feet, for the purposes of increased efficiency and conservation of energy resources.
Duties Description Responsible for coordinating projects related to utilities improvements in all Office of General Services (OGS) owned and operated facilities at various locations throughout the State. Schedule and supervise work performed by in-house staff, contract labor and contractors. Assist RPM staff in the efficient operation of all mechanical systems. Develop and utilize computer applications for engineering analysis. Review feasibility studies, perform cost/benefit analysis, life cycle costs analysis & facility audits, evaluate existing plant equipment for possible energy efficient upgrades, review change order proposals, and verify that completed work complies with contract specifications for all OGS facilities statewide.
Additional Comments Operating Needs:
Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New York State motor vehicle operator’s license.
