Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level required: Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline with minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field; Or a 2 year degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience; Or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Relevant Experience required: Extensive experience in Systems Analysis, Data Architecture and Project Management
Knowledge required: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Data Management and Reporting tools, MS SQL Server 2008 and higher, industry leading BI and reporting tools. Working knowledge of CRM Dynamics, database design, system design principles, and ETL systems; Ability to work with a diverse group of people at both a functional and technical level and communicate at a level appropriate to audience; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Duties Description BASIC FUNCTION:
Conduct functional analysis of business processes, document requirements, data structures, and workflow. Identify disparate data silos, areas for improvement and architect data mapping for inclusion into core Information and Business Intelligence (BI) systems. Duties will include: surveying existing business functionality, designing data warehousing schema, data mapping, performance monitoring, end user support, system disaster recovery, Quality of Service (QoS) testing and documentation as well as to provide technical assistance in any other area of IT as directed by department managers.
WORK PERFORMED:
•Identify business needs, elicit requirements and specifications, and develop project plans that utilize innovative technologies to improve organizational workflow
•Author functional specifications for new and enhanced business requirements
•Architect consolidation of disparate information silos through data warehousing and BI initiatives
•Develop and document strategies for master data creation and management
•Maintain the organizations master Data Dictionary
•Oversee Microsoft Dynamics onboarding, workflow and data integration
•Provide Data Analysis, establish mapping and Ad Hoc reporting as required by application users and ESD Management
•Review new development and ensure compliance with defined IT and business requirements
•Serve as a customer liaison for end users and 3rd party vendors, represent IT on project teams / workgroups
•Manage multiple projects concurrently, meet established guidelines
•Assist in IT Disaster Recovery efforts and perform other related duties as required
