Minimum Qualifications Two years (60 semester credit hours) of college coursework which must include twenty-four credit hours in a combination of courses in Entomology, Agronomy, Biology, Ecology, Biology, and Statistics, of which twelve credit hours must have been directly related to Entomology.

Duties Description Assist with curation of the Diagnostic Lab reference collection.
Pin and label all specimens not currently processed and organize them into appropriate drawers.
Develop schedule of maintenance for reference collection.

Assist with the development of the Hemlock Wooly Adelgid (HWA) field insectary at Five Rivers Environmental Education Center.

During field season, assist with trapping surveys and research projects including:
Trap deployment, bi-weekly trap checks and trap takedown.
a.Trap catch sample processing, prescreening, identification and curation of specimens.
b.SPB bark sampling
c.Research experimental design planning, data collection and analysis.

All other duties as assigned.
