Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the Teaching Assistant Civil Service Eligible List OR
One year of permanent competitive service as a Teaching Assistant or eligible for a 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description Under the supervision of a certified teacher, provide direct instructional services to students utilizing lesson plans, tests and teaching aids developed by a certified teacher.

Reinforce subject matter previously taught by a teacher by guiding students through a prescribed and frequently repetitive learning exercise.

Administer, proctor and correct tests.
