Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated.

Duties Description Operate heavy equipment, such as trucks, tractors, front-end loaders, etc. Operate light self-propelled equipment, such as power mowers, chain saws, power saws, etc. Perform a variety of tasks utilizing power and manual hand tools, including saws, hammers, drills, sanders, etc. Perform a variety of construction trades, including masonry, carpentry and electrical. Must be willing and able to do manual work in the park, such as lifting trash cans chest high, using rakes and shovels, operate push lawnmowers, leaf blowers, grass trimmers and O-turn mower. Must be able to perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and equipment. Willing to supervise employees, ensuring staff understand and carry out duties in a timely manner with consideration to the safety of all employees.

Additional Comments This is a temporary appointment with a duration of 5/18/17 through 11/30/17.

Work hours and scheduled with be discussed at interview. Work hours are generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
