Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As the Project Coordinator you would be responsible for:
? Reviews requests for studies of agency programs, policy, and organizational structure to determine the nature of the problem, objective of the project and other relevant details
? Assists agency and program managers by providing technical assistance
? Participating in proactive organizational planning and conducting all aspects of statewide recruitment in compliance with Civil Service Law, Affirmative Action statutes, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Department policies and guidelines
? Aiding in assessing underutilization in the agency workforce
? Assisting in the planning, developing and implementation of new programs and initiatives responsive to the needs of the Agency
? Developing and maintaining diversity metrics and scorecard to measure success of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs
? Preparing reports or sections of reports and performing related activities
Conducting customer investigations
? Reviewing requests for reasonable accommodations and making determinations/recommended actions
? Performing ergonomic assessments and making recommendations of appropriate ergonomic equipment for employees
? Participating in meetings with community groups, business, unions, professional organizations, etc. to explain and promote diversity and equal opportunity activities
? Conducting federal compliance monitoring and reviews
? Communicating with partners to generate full compliance with reporting requirements
? Developing training modules
? Researching and developing resources for violence prevention, diversity and inclusion
? Other duties as assigned
