Minimum Qualifications Possession of a valid license and registration to practice dentistry in New York State and 2 years of full time post-licensure dentistry experience and completion of continuing education in the amount of 150 hours post graduate education acceptable to the American Academy of General Dentistry completed within the past 3 years.
Duties Description Usually under advisory direction of higher ranking Dentist. Responsible for regular examination, treatment and complete dental care of patients in a state facility. Duties and organizational context are similar to those for a Dentist 1 except this level recognizes the more advanced practitioner.
