Minimum Qualifications Requirements for Appointment at each level:
For Librarian 1: a qualifying master's degree.
For Librarian 2: a qualifying master's degree and one year of full time post-degree professional librarian experience.
For Senior Librarian: a qualifying master's degree and two years of full time post-degree professional librarian experience.
A master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is not qualifying.
Duties Description Trained to perform a full range of professional librarian activities including selecting, acquiring, classifying, cataloging and indexing library materials. Also, provide bibliographic reader assistance and research services to library clients. You might also be responsible for the administration of small libraries and be assigned supervisory responsibilities.
