Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this position. You must be physically able to perform the duties assigned. You must be able to use a computer and software such as Access, Excel, and Word.

Duties Description This is a seasonal laborer position in the NYSDEC’s Hunter Education Program. Specific duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to the following:

Packing, loading and delivering equipment, supplies and materials.
Lifting boxes up to 30 lbs.
Maintaining inventories of equipment, supplies and materials.
Entering data in and maintaining electronic databases and spreadsheets.
Prepare packages for mailing.
Answer phone calls.
Respond to inquiries by phone and email.
Order equipment, supplies and materials.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds. These are seasonal, hourly appointments with an anticipated end date of 3/31/19. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to dates listed in duties description. Actual work schedule, duties, and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
