Minimum Qualifications Active list candidate on the New York State Department of Civil Service’s Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) eligible list with a score of 100.0 or higher; OR qualified 55B/C candidate in possession of a Bachelor’s or higher degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills; organization and time management skills; proficiency with Excel, Word, and SharePoint; ability to effectively manage multiple priorities; strong attention to detail; and working knowledge of electronic data systems, such as eMedNY and NYSoH Back Office.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will work within the Bureau of Third Party Health Insurance, Medicare Savings Program and Recoveries, in the Third Party Liability (TPL) unit. Duties will include, but are not limited to: develop and maintain a working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare programs; assist in reviewing, monitoring, and tracking project initiatives for the TPL unit; review TPL reports and make recommendations for follow-up; serve as a bureau liaison for staff onboarding/offboarding processes; develop and update training materials, including work instructions and guidance documents for new staff on various computer systems used by TPL; and conduct quality review of the new hires post-training.
