Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience requirements.
Candidates should be familiar with using a computer and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Access.
Duties Description - Familiarize yourself with the Hunting/Trapping and Fishing Regulation Guides: so that you may answer questions from the public.
- Phone Coverage for Game Management: answer calls from hunters and license issuing agents regarding license issuance, hunting seasons and game harvest reporting. Also retrieve messages from voicemail and return calls regarding hunting-related issues.
- Assist with Section's Mailings: fold, stuff and mail large-volume annual mailings and surveys.
- Assist with Section's Survey Scanning and Editing: sort, batch and scan survey forms; edit survey forms using Teleform Verifier software.
- Assist with Purchasing and Ordering: place orders for supplies for office staff as needed.
- Assist with monitoring the wildlife and wildlife regs email in-box: reply to emails from the public as needed.
- General Office Duties: Incoming mail distribution, scanning, faxing, photocopying and word processing, as well as meeting and conference set up for both the Game Management and Wildlife Diversity Sections as needed. Prepare special mail when necessary using proper procedures.
Additional Comments These are seasonal, hourly appointments ending no later than 3/31/2019. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to dates listed in duties description. Actual work schedule, duties, and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
