Minimum Qualifications CJPR 1, SG-18: Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-16 or higher, and otherwise eligible for transfer.

CJPR Trainee, NS: One year of permanent competitive or 55 b/c service in a title allocated to SG-11 or higher and otherwise eligible to transfer under Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Under supervision of a Criminal Justice Program Representative 2, the Criminal Justice Program Representative 1 (CJPR 1) will review and approve grant applications, make appropriate recommendations to OPDF supervisors and managers, and will subsequently work with grantees in developing program goals, objectives, tasks, and performance measures necessary for executing grant contracts.

The CJPR 1 will also be responsible for using the electronic Grants Management System (GMS), or other electronic grants management systems when preparing required contract supporting documents, monitoring active programs including the Raise the Age (RTA) initiative, conducting independent site monitoring visits, and providing contract technical assistance to grantees. The incumbent will work with Finance staff to help monitor program encumbrances and expenditures; prepare correspondence, manage special grants, complete special assignments as required by OPDF Management, and participate in ongoing training and staff development activities.

Additional Comments Appointment is subject to Division of Budget waiver approval.
