Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or non-competitive 55b/c service as a Senior Attorney OR
have one year of permanent competitive or non-competitive 55b/c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law OR be reachable on the Legal Specialties eligible list.

Candidates appointed from the Legal Specialties eligible list that have less than 24 months of experience must serve a traineeship with advances at 6-month intervals until eligible for appointment at the Senior Attorney level.

Duties Description Duties will include, but are not limited to:
drafting contracts and memoranda of understanding, reviewing federal co-operative agreements and assisting program staff with development of solicitation documents such as Request for Proposals and Invitation for Bid.

Additional Comments Knowledge of State Finance Law, procurement guidelines and procedures preferred.
