Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications This is a transfer opportunity for a current State employee with permanent service as a Plant Utilitites Assistant.

Duties Description
Under the direction of Plant Utilities Engineer 2 and Plant Utilities Engineer 1, the incumbents will:
• Operate and maintain boilers and all auxiliary equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting repairs and replacement of all steam distribution equipment.
• Responsible for the cleaning of boilers and all power plant equipment.
• Use computer programs such as LATS, AIM, Pronto, etc.

Additional Comments Operational Needs:
• Asbestos certification required within 90 days of appointment.
• Utilities Management is a 24/7 operation, thus night, weekend, and holiday work is required based on shift assignment and operational need.
