Minimum Qualifications COMPETITIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Permanent service in this title or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-11 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The Program Aide will be assigned to the Office of Criminal Justice Records (OCJR). The position involves working with state and federal criminal history data. The Program Aide will respond to requests for criminal history data, utilize the Record Review application to review and analyze statistics to help determine efficiencies to be gained, review criminal history data for accuracy, and routinely interact with the public, attorneys and vendors. Responsibilities will also include assisting in the development of data quality processes as it relates to the electronic and manual updating of criminal history related data. Candidate must possess good written and oral communication skills and have good attention to detail. The incumbent must also be able to work well in team settings. Preferred candidates will possess good analytics skills and working knowledge of the criminal justice system.
