Job Specifics

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

As an Associate Unemployment Insurance Internal Security Specialist Quality Control, you will supervise the review and analysis of unemployment systems, operations, policies and procedures to measure the accuracy of benefits paid and denied and to determine if due process has been met in unemployment insurance transactions. The review and analysis will be conducted in accordance with the federally mandated Benefit Accuracy Measurement and Benefits Timeliness Quality programs.

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Provisional Qualifications: DOL EMPLOYEES ONLY
You must be a qualified employee of New York State Department of Labor and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as an Investigative Officer 2 (Unemployment Insurance), Senior Administrative Analyst, Senior Auditor, Senior Unemployment Insurance Hearing Representative, Supervising Labor Services Representative, Supervising Labor Services Representative (Chinese Language), Supervising Labor Services Representative (Spanish Language), Unemployment Insurance Accounts Assistant Supervisor, or Unemployment Insurance Accounts Support Supervisor 1. The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently.

An employee with one-year permanent competitive service in the following title, may be eligible for transfer:
