Job Specifics
Duties Description As a Recreation Worker, under the supervision of professional treatment staff, your duties will include:
• Collaborating with treatment team and planning recreation and rehabilitation activities
• Teaching and coaching individuals on sports, games, and other group activities and encouraging participation
• Observing and recording individuals’ responses to activities
Minimum Qualifications Greater Binghamton Health Center is recruiting for a Recreation Worker to plan, organize, and conduct recreation and rehabilitation activities to individuals with mental illness. Candidates within State Service can apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have 1 year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
