ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
The Manger, Cultural Change and Diversity will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of ESD DEI Initiatives. The role will provide operational, project management, and curriculum/learning and development support to meet goals outlined by the Vice President of Cultural Change and Diversity for the organization. This role has an on-site requirement with eligibility for a hybrid schedule in accordance with the organization’s policy. Some travel throughout NYS is required.

WORK PERFORMED:
Operational Support:
• Maintaining Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility resources on organization’s intranet
• Assisting with logistics/coordination of initiatives
• Providing communications updates for projects and initiatives
• Support the management of the training portal, including user license administration and coordination with service provider.

Data Analysis:
• Coordinating with key stakeholders to draft plans that measure the impact of programs and initiatives
• Building project tools (surveys, reports, feedback forms)
• Analyzing survey and questionnaire data to track key indicators and draft reports to be shared with the ESD staff
• Creating survey summaries and recommendations based on trends in the literature

Project Management:
• Creating detailed project plans to monitor work streams, communications plans, project roles, task assignments, timelines, deliverables
• Coordinating, executing and managing initiatives and events (e.g., panel discussions, webinars, surveys, and presentations)

Learning and Development:
? Partner with VPCD to research, develop and implement evidence-based training programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves selecting appropriate training methods, incorporating interactive and engaging training techniques, and identifying and managing relationships with external training providers, consultants, or educational institutions to leverage external expertise and resources
? Monitor feedback, review metrics to measure the impact of learning and development activities (e.g., training and workshops)
? Make process improvement recommendations based on data analysis and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications Education required: Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, social and behavioral sciences, HR, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or other relevant degree fields preferred; Associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience will be considered.

Experience required: 3-5 years of experience designing curriculum, data analysis, performing quantitative and qualitative research, proven ability to build strong working relationships and work with all levels of stakeholders and senior leadership, end-to-end project lifecycle management, confident and capable public speaker with demonstrated success facilitating aspects of educational programming, professional development sessions around issues of equity in the workplace.

Knowledge Required: Principles, methods and tools of equity and inclusion work, experience conducting research (including literature reviews), high degree of initiative, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, written, verbal or non-verbal communication skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, demonstrated knowledge of engagement strategies, organizational behavior, organizational change, and change management fundamentals, organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills with ability to manage multiple types of assignments simultaneously.
