Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades-worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course.

Must have and maintain a valid NYS Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic carpentry and electrical skills.

Duties Description Repair and maintain buildings and structures. Maintenance and repairs of field structures which may require general carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills. Operate various pieces of small construction equipment. Purchase supplies and materials in accordance with Department policy and procedure. Responsible for daily records and reports.

Additional Comments Overnight travel may be required for State sponsored activities.
