Minimum Qualifications You must have permanent/professional or provisional/initial/conditional initial New York State certification in specialty (Mathematics)
Requirements For Appointment At Each Level:
For Teacher 2: New York State provisional/initial/conditional initial certification in the appropriate specialty;
For Teacher 3: New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty;
For Teacher 4: New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty and two years of post-certification (conditional initial/provisional/initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in that same specialty.

Duties Description Teaching Mathematics to offender population in a correctional facility.

Additional Comments Requirements for continued employment: Possession of a permanent/professional or provisional/initial/conditional inital NYS certificate in the appropriate specialty is necessary for continued employment. Loss of certification will result in termination of employment.
