Job Specifics

Duties Description The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Custodial Aide in the Court of Appeals in Albany, NY. This position will be assigned custodial and janitorial tasks in the Court of Appeals Hall and Centennial Hall where the successful candidate will assist with keeping the buildings in a clean and orderly condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Performing routine housekeeping in courtrooms, Judges’ chambers, and other courthouse areas.
- Performing routine maintenance.
- Moving furniture and equipment.
- Performing waste removal from courtrooms, Judges’ chambers, and other courthouse areas.

Hours: Monday to Friday - Night Shift (Midnight to 8am)

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
