Job Specifics

Duties Description Prepare, manage and submit miscellaneous and grant contracts. Monitor OPMC contracts working with program directors to ensure contract terms are met and vouchering accurately and promptly completed. Supervise purchasing and accounts payable. Track expenditures and provide quarterly reporting. Assist with annual budget preparation, submission and tracking. Oversee miscellaneous non-employee spending. Assist Director of Administrative Services as necessary with business management of the office.

Minimum Qualifications Permanent Transfer Candidates: Current NYS employee with one or more years of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a salary grade at or above G21 and eligible for transfer via Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong computer skills, including experience using databases. Ability to interpret written communications from the public and others. Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Additional Comments This position may require travel throughout New York State including overnights to areas not served by public transportation.
