Job Specifics
Duties Description The Treatment Team Leader (TTL) is essential to the State Operations Division of Services. They support and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations. The TTL will be required to make periodic visits to sites within the DDSO region and will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate, timely, and high-quality services are provided in accordance with all applicable standards and guidelines. Treatment Team Leaders oversee the clinical team, which develops staff action plans and residential habilitation plans that generate Medicaid billing for State Operations. Treatment Team Leaders also ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, address systemic issues, and develop and implement corrective actions to strengthen the integrity of state-operated programs that oversee the health and safety of the individuals who reside there.
The function and assignment of this position are unique within state operations. The Treatment Team Leader will be assigned to Team 2 in Area 3, with a tentative caseload of 45, including two barrier-free, medically enhanced homes with 24-hour nursing and a total capacity of 24 individuals, as well as one residential day hab and three SORIA community homes. Beds on this team are in continual demand due to the medically fragile and aging population. The caseload is intensive and includes individuals who need total care, those with mental health needs requiring Behavior Support Plans, and those with more intensive medical needs. The Treatment Team Leader will supervise a multidisciplinary treatment team and serve as an Administrator on Duty (AOD) on a rotational basis. Treatment Team Leader positions are needed to provide oversight and administrative support to State Operations as individuals in the Hudson Valley are expected to increase in severity of need, as we continue our mission to be the Safety Net Provider for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
