Job Specifics

Duties Description Under the direction of the Pools Operation Coordinator at Bear Mountain State Park , the selected candidate’s duties will include, but not be limited to:

•Assist the Agency Pool Operations Coordinator with ensuring that regions are maintaining, operating, and inspecting pools and spray grounds properly. Assist regions with trouble shooting, stocking replacement parts, and repair. Perform regular pool and filter room inspections and ensure that facilities are performing regular prescribed and preventative maintenance.

•Assist the Agency Pool Operations Coordinator with the development of and updating facility pool manuals on an annual basis. Review, as part of the inspection program water quality test findings and records. Perform follow-up on post inspection recommendations.

•Assist the Agency Pool Operations Coordinator in developing replacement schedules for water filtration systems and other critical pool components. Work with regions and capital to advise on new pool components, infrastructure, and rehab capital projects.

•Other tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications There are no minimum qualifications per Civil Service.

Additional Comments PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Experience with, or a strong desire to learn the skilled trades of plumbing, mechanical, HVAC
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
•Strong communication skills
