Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications EITHER: 1) Reachable on the Civil Service eligible list (if you are on the eligible list for this title you will automatically be canvassed for this position if your score is reachable for potential employment); OR 2) Eligible for reassignment by virtue of having permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 2; OR 3) eligible for transfer under the provisions of Section 70.1, 52.6 or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The incumbent duties include but are not limited to: system administration and support for our Investment Systems, EzeCastle, Portia, PAM, Argus, Omgeo, BondEdge, IDC, Thomson, FactSet, Bloomberg, Barra and State Street. The server operating systems are Windows 2008 R2 and above. End-user support functions, day-to-day production support, 3rd party vendor support and application related operational activities for managing the Investment applications.
Additional Comments -Hands on experience with the administration of EzeCastle, Portia, PAM, Argus, Omgeo, BondEdge, IDC, Thomson, FactSet, Bloomberg, Barra and State Street product suites.
- Hands on administration experience with alternative Investment related systems.
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting experience in Windows 2008 R2 and above environments.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with Oracle 11g and higher.
- Experience deploying, configuring, integrating, and maintaining systems in a Microsoft.NET development environment including IIS, and client-server deployments
- Experience setting up and configuring scheduling utilities using scripting languages like powershell, command line batch, or vbscript
- Experience setting up and configuring Apache Tomcat deployments
