Minimum Qualifications CS List Qualifications:
Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. Transfer eligible titles include but may not be limited to: Administrative Assistant, Business Systems Analyst 1, Human Resources Specialist 1, Senior Internal Auditor, Contract Management Specialist 1, Health Program Administrator, Information Technology Specialist 2, or Senior Administrative Analyst.
This position may also be filled at the trainee level by appointment of a candidate reachable on the PATT or PCO eligible list.
Duties Description The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the development, administration, delivery, and evaluation of training designed to improve on-the job knowledge, skills and abilities of staff. Duties for this position include, but may not be limited to: conducting gap analysis to determine training needs; developing course objectives; researching and preparing course content, activities, and job aids; determining the best delivery method, including in-person, on-line, webinar, or videoconference; developing evaluation tools; monitoring compliance of GOER mandated training programs; supporting the use of the Statewide Learning Management System; using software authoring tools for on-line training; and testing new and upgraded applications in preparation for training. The candidate must have demonstrated writing skills. Experience with curriculum development and training delivery is preferable. Occasional travel is required
