Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title or one year of permanent service in a title SG-11 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. Candidates reachable on the civil service eligible list for this title will be canvassed and need not apply to this posting.
Duties Description The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Civil Vendor Network Unit. Duties will include but are not limited to: assisting in managing all aspects of the statewide vendor-managed contract for compliance; assisting in preparation of objectives to ensure contract compliance including collecting and analyzing statistical information gathered from a variety of sources and proposing actions based on analysis; preparing and maintaining graphs, charts, and reports relative to the data received via the vendor network; developing and implementing methods of data analysis as relative to fingerprint transmissions submitted through the vendor; reviewing daily reports for deficiencies and following up on all issues to ensure adequate resolutions; conducting site visits at vendor fingerprinting locations throughout the State; and preparing draft procedures, forms, and correspondence for processes related to civil fingerprint submission via the vendor network.
