Minimum Qualifications
Appointments to Senior Staffing Services Representative, G-18: Eligible for a 52.6 transfer.

Appointment to Staffing Services Representative Trainee 1, NS: Reachable on the Department of Civil Service’s PATT eligible list (Department of Civil Service employees only), reachable on the PCO eligible list, eligible for a Section 70.1 or 70.4 transfer, or 55-b/c eligible (must have Bachelor’s Degree and 55-b/c eligibility letter to qualify)

Duties Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of an Associate Staffing Services Representative, the incumbent of this position will:

•Provide merit system advice and guidance to assigned State agencies; monitor, review, and process personnel transactions; and assist agencies with the interpretation of Civil Service laws, rules, regulations and policies
•Plan, schedule and administer timely and appropriate selection devices for assigned State agencies
•Provide Civil Service guidance and answer inquiries from a variety of individuals via phone call, email, and in writing
•Interact with a variety of individuals including state employees, job seekers, agency representatives, and employee organizations
•Review, research and make recommendations on Department of Civil Service matters and Civil Service Commission matters.
