Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications For provisional appointment you must meet the following minimum qualifications. Six (6) years of full-time investment or cash management experience; a bachelor’s degree in finance, public administration, or business administration, including at least 15 credit hours in finance, may be substituted for four years of experience; or a master’s degree and credit hours as described above may be substituted for five years of experience.

Duties Description NYSIF’s Investment Compliance Department is looking to add a position to assist with our compliance tasks, such as analyzing and managing data, using quantitative tools and investment software, developing relevant statistical data, and preparing correspondence and documents in connection with purchases and sales of investments.

The preferred candidate would have knowledge of the investments field, an understanding of the control environment of an investment department, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio. Experience with Bloomberg investment software is a plus.
