Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive or 55 b/c service in a title SG-11 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Agency Program Aide supports the functions of the Adult Operations Unit. Duties will include but are not limited to:
Track the submission of the probation workload reports and Ignition Interlock Device (IID) program reports including monthly manufacturer’s reports and quarterly monitor’s reports; assist in the development of the Annual Probation Plan and Application for Probation Departments; extract data from surveys, applications and forms from probation departments in regard to adult operation matters; assist in the review, evaluation and analysis of reports and records from a variety of sources; prepare tables, charts and reports related to adult probation and/or ignition interlock practices in New York State; identify critical incidents involving probationers from the Daily Report, a summary of recent serious crimes, and request supporting documentation from probation departments; and assist in preparing and tracking short-term and long-range work objectives and goals for the Adult Operations Unit. The incumbent will have frequent oral and written communication within OPCA, local probation departments, program representatives, and other State and federal agencies.
Additional Comments Appointment is subject to Division of Budget waiver approval.
