Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed by New York State as a Dental Hygienist and current registration to practice in New York State.

Duties Description Perform dental services under the supervision of a dentist. Remove calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth. Apply topical agents to teeth for complete dental prophylaxis. Remove cement and sutures. Perform topical medication, fluoride and anesthetic applications. Polish teeth, chart dental care, place and remove temporary restorations.
