Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered as a Physician's Assistant by the New York State Education Department or possess a limited permit to practice as a Physician's Assistant in New York State.

Duties Description Under the supervision of a physician, you would assist in diagnosis and treatment of inmates, perform routine medical exams, write prescriptions and submit them to the physician for countersignature; order lab tests and x-ray procedures and evaluate lab tests. You would refer abnormal finding to the physician, initiate treatment for emergency cases and contact the physician for further assistance.

Additional Comments Additional pay: $1513.00/Yr. location pay and $0.75 per hour hazardous duty pay.
