Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must be a New York State employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service as an Office Assistant 2 (Calculations)/SG-9 or in a title at or above a G-7 and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1* of the Civil Service Law.

*Examples of titles that qualify for transfer directly are, but are not limited to: Assistant Workers Compensation Examiner, Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1, Hospital Patient Services Clerk 2, Law Department Document Specialist, Library Clerk 2, Licensing Services Clerk, Motor Vehicle Representative, Nursing Station Clerk 1, Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 (various parenthetic), Payroll Assistant, Senior Employment Security Clerk, Senior Employment Security Clerk (various parenthetic) and Toll Collector.
