Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications You must take and pass a Civil Service Examination when it is given in order to be considered for the position in a permanent status. You must be a qualified employee of New York State and have had 1 year of permanent or 55-b/55-c service in a clerical or keyboarding title allocated to grade 4 or higher.

Duties Description Maintaining basic financial, accounting, and/or statistical records; performing calculations and computations using known and standard formulas and methods (primarily using computers and calculators); as needed and as directed, contacting various internal and external parties to obtain transactions and records, which may include; processing bills and vouchers; reviewing or auditing calculations or statistics; or disbursing items of value such as cash or vouchers. You may either supervise two or more Office Assistant 1 or other lower level staff; and/or directly perform eh more difficult or complicated clerical processing and office support work for which substantive knowledge of the program area is required.

Additional Comments Additional $1513 for location pay added to salary.
