Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive service in a title allocated to a SG-7 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law. Eligible list candidates will be considered separately and need not apply.

Duties Description The incumbent’s tasks include: preparing agendas and packages for monthly agency meetings; electronically logging and tracking inmate grievances; proofreading documents for final copy; and preparing special and routine documents, correspondence and reports. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as the primary support staff for the juvenile justice aspect of the agency’s mission; preparing juvenile detention reports and the annual report for the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS); updating OCFS jail and police lockup master lists; forwarding and tracking all juvenile justice correspondence; and preparing juvenile police department lockup reports.
