Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have permanent appointment in a Office Assistant 2 (Calculations), SG-09 classified position or be reachable for appointment on the current NY State Civil Service canvass list for a Office Assistant 2 (Calculations), SG-09 position or be eligible for transfer in accordance with NYS Civil Service and Regulations.

New York State Preferred Lists candidates have preference.

Duties Description The University Police Department is searching for an Office Assistant 2 to join our team. This position will assist the Parking and Transportation Administrator by receiving and answering emails and phone calls, balancing and recording daily deposits and permits sold, issuing parking permits, and generating reports from the AIMS parking software.

The position will also assist the University Police Department Secretary with office duties as needed.
