Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Transfer Qualifications: An employee with one year of permanent, competitive service in an appropriate title allocated to Grade 12 or higher may qualify for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Titles include, but are not limited to: Office Assistant 3 (Calc), Office Assistant 3 (HR), Payroll Examiner 1, Payroll Examiner 2, Program Aide, Secretary 2 and Tax Compliance Representative 2.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As an Office Assistant 3 you may be responsible for supervising clerical staff engaged in processing, recording, maintaining and reviewing electronic and/or paper documents. You would apply specific legislation, laws and regulations and unique work procedures to provide services to the public or program staff; provide advice to and otherwise assist supervisors in planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating work operations and procedures; respond in writing or by telephone to inquiries from other units, agencies or the public concerning the operations of the section; periodically prepare narrative and statistical reports; and insure that staff is adequately trained.
