Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list, or;
Interested candidates must be eligible to transfer under section 52.6, 70.1 or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law:
52.6 transfer candidates must have at least one year of permanent competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to a grade 16 or higher and designated 52.6.
70.4 transfer candidates must have one year permanent competitive service in a position within two salary grades of SG-13 and possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College and have standing on the PCO exam.
Candidates may be required to serve a 2-year traineeship that leads to the grade 18 position. The traineeship would include SG-13 Trainee 1 and SG-14 Trainee 2. After successful completion of the two year traineeship the incumbent will advance to the SG-18 level.
Duties Description The position of Senior Administrative Analyst would be assigned to the Office of Continuous Improvement within Program Development. Duties will include, but will not be limited to: Facilitating meetings with subject matter experts to develop and/or revise and validate process documentation; gather background information to analyze process impacts; develop process models; develop narrative step-by-step procedures derived from the process models; maintain procedures in Oracle Web Center; develop and maintain the unit's internal procedures; and develop information products including system application bulletins in support of process or application changes.
