Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent, competitive class service as a Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) OR reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for the title of Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) OR one year of permanent competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Assist Application Development Staff with moving code to our various environments, this includes;
• Reviewing change requests, both Server & Database, to ensure they align with NYSIF Standards
• Attending CAB meetings to discuss the proposed changes
• Assist the various IT Teams with issues that may arise - this may include configuration, permissions, and supplying of event logs
• Utilize SCCM to deploy software to Servers
• Work after hours on rotation
Assist with the development and documentation of process and procedures for the Change and Configuration Management team.
Assist with the organization and maintenance of ITS Policies and Procedures.
