Minimum Qualifications You must be a permanent Physical Therapy Assistant 2, Grade 14

OR

you must be certified and currently registered to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New York State AND have two (2) years of post certification physical therapy assistant experience.

Duties Description As a Physical Therapy Assistant 2, you would, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist or Senior Physical Therapist, administer a variety of selected forms of physical therapy such as ultraviolet or infrared rays and massage; give patient instructions for simple exercises and transfer procedures (e.g., bed to wheelchair) and clean and store equipment after treatment.

For Full Time hire, there's an additional $2500.00 in geographic pay and $3026.00 in downstate adjustment.
