Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with permanent or contingent permanent, competitive status as a Internal Auditor 2, Grade 23. OR: New York State employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent permanent, competitive service in a title eligible for transfer to Internal Auditor 2, Grade 23, under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong Computer Skills/Communication; Conducted Various HealthCare Operation Audits/Sample testing; Conducted Risk Assessments in Operations; Excellent Background with Policies and Procedures; Self-Starter.

Duties Description Conducting various Operations Audits on an annual basis, write a Final Audit Report; assist in the annual Risk Assessment of Operations; Review and monitor all Operations Policy and Procedures; Back-up for the Contract Unit; Perform Ad-hoc audits upon the request of Senior Management; Review and Update the Oversight and Monitoring Plan; Assist in external audit; Monitor Inventory of Computer/Office equipment; Audit Eligibility of Grant Vouchers for Reimbursment.
