Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a student currently enrolled in upcoming/current college courses.

Preferred Skill sets:
Strong Communicator: Clearly convey complex information, both in writing and verbally.
Efficient & Independent: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines, working independently with a focus on user-centered improvements.
Technical Expertise: Experienced in content editing or technical writing, with proficiency in MS Word. Optimally would also have familiarity with CMS like WordPress or Drupal.
Commitment to the Mission: Focus on impact driven user-centered improvements.

Duties Description We're seeking a meticulous and innovative editor with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences to assist us with a comprehensive overhaul of our website content. In this role, you will receive hands-on training in our Drupal content management system, plain language best practices, and 508/WCAG compliance.
Content & Compliance: Design and layout pages, ensuring compliance with WCAG standards and internal guidelines.
Task & Quality Management: Collaborate with the team to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain site accuracy and consistency.
User Experience & Content Writing: Provide feedback to improve website layout, navigation, and content to enhance clarity, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across the site.
