Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Currently enrolled in an accredited program or pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Preferred candidate will have:
Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Website design and architecture
Effective verbal and written communication
Familiarity with Adobe, Canva, or Photoshop

Duties Description This internship offers a unique opportunity for a qualified candidate to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work alongside experienced accountants and auditors on a variety of projects, including:

Partnership for Inclusive Internship (PII) Intern
The New York State Department of Labor, Division of Employment and Workforce Solutions, Bureau of Innovation and Quality, Office of Career Development and Inclusion (OCDI) is seeking an intern to assist with the statewide roll-out and promotion of the Partnership for Inclusive Internship initiative (PII). PII identifies internship opportunities within NYS agencies for qualified candidates with disabilities. Additionally, the OCDI intern will learn about and provide support as needed to other department initiatives.
Primary responsibilities include:
Creating promotional content and imagery for PII program materials
Working with NYSDOL Communications Office to ensure PII is well represented on the NYSDOL and Chief Disability Officer website
Researching NYS agencies to identify appropriate contacts for program outreach
Maintaining PII program trackers (e.g., interns, agency contacts, referral sources)
Creating informational participant forms.
Providing program assistance to other units within CDI
