Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications Either 1. a bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science;
Or 2. a bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field AND one year of experience in information technology;
Or 3. 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science AND one year of experience in information technology;
Or 4. two years of experience in information technology.
Duties Description Under the direction of a Project Assistant, SG-NS, within the Office of Information Technology Services, WCB (Worker’s Compensation Board) Business Solutions, the Information Technology Specialist 2, SG-NS, will be responsible for supporting development and enhancements to the eForms application systems as well supporting development for the WCB OnBoard Program and related projects.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Develop application code and be proficient in various technologies and products, such as C#/.Net, SQL MI, and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and analyze user stories.
• Interact and coordinate tasks with various developers and DevOps team.
• Perform system analysis and develop system specifications.
• Adhere to and enforce IT standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and professionalism across all levels of the organization.
