Job Specifics

Duties Description A Pharmacy Aide would report to and assist a licensed pharmacist in the preparation of medications for dispensing, and administrative tasks in support of a pharmacy operation. The Pharmacy Aide would receive and inventory pharmaceutical supplies; assist in preparing pharmaceutical orders; maintain reports and logs, and enter data into pharmacy systems; and maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment within the pharmacy.

Minimum Qualifications Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent, and either one year of experience assisting with the filling of medical prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist; current pharmacy technician certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board; or a certificate or diploma from a pharmacy technician training program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

This position is eligible for a Mid-State adjustment of $1,650.
