Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications 30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries, marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.

Duties Description Position 1: Assist with field sampling and laboratory work for shellfish sanitation program

Positions 2 & 3: Data entry, Peconic small mesh survey, blackfish trapping survey. Party/Charter boat sampling, equipment/boat maintenance

Additional Comments Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 11/30/15. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 11/30/15.

Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.

Anticipated hourly rate will be $15.41 pending approval.
