Job Specifics
Duties Description The New York State Senate Minority Conference is seeking a creative, driven, and experienced Digital Director to oversee a member’s digital strategy and execution. This role will manage day-to-day digital communications, build the member's online presence, and support the member in advancing their message across platforms.
In this dynamic role, you will:
•Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies to amplify the member’s priorities and messaging
•Manage social media accounts, digital content calendars, and rapid-response efforts
•Produce compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, optimized for multiple platforms
•Oversee email marketing, website updates, and digital advertising campaigns
•Track analytics and provide reports on engagement, reach, and effectiveness
•Collaborate with communications and policy teams to ensure unified messaging
•Travel as needed to assist member with events
Minimum Qualifications To move forward, you must have:
•Two to four years of experience in digital communications or related fields
•Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, and analytics tools
•Proven ability to create and edit engaging content (graphics, video, and written)
•Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Additional Comments Salary range is $50,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience.
