Minimum Qualifications Education level required: Master’s Degree
Relevant experience required: 8+ years’ relevant experience

Duties Description •Manage the Global NY Division administrative operations including the activities of foreign representatives and ESD Global NY staff; budget preparation and staff development.

•Establish departmental goals, objectives and metrics for evaluation of program performance and closely monitor external contracts.

•On an ongoing basis review and analyze Global NY Division program operations, implementing necessary adjustments and revisions based upon changing conditions affecting world trade and investment.

•Coordinate with other Division/Department heads concerning interfacing activities and work closely with ESD Strategic Business Division and ESD’s Start-up NY EVP to promote Agency initiatives.

•Work with NYS Regional Economic Development Councils to advance export opportunities for New York businesses and provide guidance for advancing export assistance opportunities.

•Frequent travel to promote Global NY programs and maintain high level contacts with the regional offices, international business executives, industry leaders, advocacy groups and other such private and public organizations.
