Job Specifics

Duties Description Part-time and full time entry-level custodial positions on various shifts. A Cleaner performs a variety of routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for an assigned area in buildings and adjacent grounds and sidewalks.

Minimum Qualifications * Working knowledge of the properties of various cleaning substances.
* Ability to understand and follow verbal and simple written instructions in English
* Ability to stand, stoop, bend and stretch for long periods of time
* Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor
* Ability to use various cleaning equipment and products
* Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds and shovel snow
* Ability to read, write and understand English
* Successful applicants must be good communicators, have a positive attitude, and be able to work productively as a team member

Additional Comments Shifts available:

Full time: 11pm-7am (Weekend shifts may be necessary as well as Monday holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year's Day should they fall on a Monday; pass days vary)

Full time: 4am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday

Full time (evenings): 5pm-1am, Monday-Friday

Part-time (weekends): 1st shift: Saturday, Sunday & Monday (including Monday holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year's Day should they fall on a Monday)

Part-time (day shift): Monday - Friday 10am - 2:30pm (+/- 30 min depending on building assignment)

Upon hire, a 52-week probationary period must be served.
